I was introduced to Eric by his brother Ryan who was doing the leg work for Eric’s wedding planning since Eric lives in Southern California. When Eric and I spoke over the phone it was like we’ve been friends forever. We talked for over an hour about anything. I knew we had a great connection and when Eric told me a few days later that they would like to move forward with me, I may or may have not “YAY!” out loud like a little girl.
We met on a gloomy, sprinkley Sunday to do their engagement session. We couldn’t really reschedule it because they flew up here for session and wouldn’t be able to make it back up until closer to the wedding. We got SOOOOO lucky because when we started, the rained stopped and didn’t start again until after we were done. Seriously, LUCKY!!
We started at Capital Park, walked around downtown for a bit before heading to midtown where I found the CUTEST laundry mat called “Love Laundry.” I die!
These two are so sweet and I can’t wait until they are official. =)
I am a little late on this post as their son was born back in October 2013, but I could skip out on posting these beautiful photos. Maternity sessions have a special place in my heart. I am not sure if it’s the beauty of an expectant mother or just knowing that inside of her is housing and growing a beautiful, wonderful little person. It was only until I had my own daughter did I realize I should be documenting every step of pregnancy. I didn’t do a maternity session with my first and regret that. I won’t make that mistake with my 2nd, for sure.
Brittany and I met when we worked together doing marketing promotions a few years back. She was always really easy to talk to to and so very nice. When she reached out to me for her maternity session I was overjoyed! I absolutely love LOVE shooting people I know and being able to capture such important moments in their lives are so humbling to me. Like they want me. ME! =)
Here is Brittany, Brandon and their son, Preston. Corbin is in the belly!
